It was a weekend to remember for JV Lacrosse after our highly successful game against Hotchkiss. Marko Wuchenich ‘26 opened bright and early with a goal just a minute into the game, throwing Hotchkiss off their rhythm and leading him to score three more goals throughout the match. Jack Forsyth ‘26 was an excellent team player, offering up two assists that allowed Rowan Dias ‘27 to evade Hotchkiss defense and find the net. Ryan Amundson ‘24 maintained focus and composure when Hotchkiss offense approached, allowing for a three-quarter shut out and four saves. Our defense quickly jumped on the save and seized the field, with long pole Leo Ma ‘25, who also picked up seven groundballs, sprinting towards Hotchkiss and acing a goal past their defense. This high scoring game was kept continuous by Leo Zhao ‘26, who ensured that we kept possession through the majority of the game, picking up loose balls left and right, which then helped middy Felix Alfaro ‘27 prove his sportsmanship by assisting an expert goal. We are prepared for what lies ahead against Eaglebrook on 5/8/24.
