In a valiant game against Eaglebrook, the boys used a combination of strategy and unity to pressure Eaglebrook early into the game. Griffin Mariani ‘26 secured our first goal in a rapid bounce back, which opened our offensive opportunities for Marko Wuchenich ‘26, who repeated his accurate shots three more times throughout our close battle. Luke Donnellan ‘27 took the role of FOGO at the beginning of our game, and Felix Alfaro ‘27 tried his hand out with a long pole, these players having expert adaptations to assist with close calls and defensive measures. Leo Ma ‘25 sped down the field multiple times, once that ended with a long pole goal, surprising Eaglebrook and inspiring the team. Sawyer Johnson ‘25 was dead set on controlling loose balls, gaining possession multiple times and passing it on to our offense, who collaborated on strategy. Going into overtime, our defense was zeroed in on blocking any goal opportunities, which led us into an exhilarating double overtime. We left everything out on the field and are prepared to recuperate against Avon Old Farms on 5/11/24.
