Deerfield dropped a 4-2 league game against Worcester Academy. Worcester scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st and held onto that lead throughout the game. SS Conor Moriarty went 1-2 and scored both of Deerfield’s runs. Gavin Rigney continued his hot hitting with an RBI single in the bottom of the first, extending his hitting streak to 7 games. SP Tripp Woytowicz settled in after a rocky 1st inning and held Worcester scoreless through innings 2-5.
