Hoping to build on the momentum from the win the day before, the Deerfield boys JV tennis team (1-5) lost a tight match to Suffield Academy on April 27th. All of the matches were played in an 8 game, pro-set format without ads and singles were played first. Doubles were played afterwards, with the best of three matches counting for one point. Unfortunately, the format worked against the team in this case, as they lost singles 4-2, but won all three doubles matches to lose the overall match 4-3.

The boys JV tennis team will be back on road for their next match, May 1st against the Westminster School. The match will start at 3:30 pm.
