Wednesday, Deerfield’s first home game started out slow for the doors. Andover came out tough and strong, leaving Deerfield on defense for much of the game. Rose Manning stayed strong for the Doors during the first half, scoring Deerfield 3 goals. Throughout the second half, however, Deerfield started to play much stronger and keep the ball on their offensive side more often. The girls did not make up for their lost time, though, ultimately losing 7-17.
