Our first victory was well deserved amongst our Deerfield JV Lacrosse team. With a 6-4 victory, our ball control shone through. With an opening goal by Luke Donnellan ‘27 just a minute into the game, it was clear our players were ready to fight for this win. Westminster tried to catch up, but we were able to open and close the quarters with goals, including a final goal, just thirty-six seconds before time, by Rowan Dias ‘27. Marko Wuchenich ‘26 helped increase our lead with not one, but two goals. Our offensive squad showed their power against Westie as we had many different players assisting their teammates, in goals and in passing. Our ball control also allowed us to keep pressure on Westminster, with Leo Ma ‘25 and his four ground balls. All in all, a successful game with confidence going into a battle with Cardigan Mountain School on 4/10/24.
