Surrounded by love during our Spring Family Weekend, JV Lacrosse showed up ready for battle. We were quick with our ground ball work, with new players showing their talents and quick control. Jack Wagner ‘26 was notably speedy with two ground balls, a feat matched by long pole Sawyer Johnson ‘25. Other ground ball work was done by Rowan Dias ‘27, who opened the second quarter with our first goal, paving the way for Griffin Mariani ‘26 to attack Taft with five goals over the course of the game. An incredible six saves from goalie Ryan Amundson ‘24 led Marko Wuchenich ‘26 to blindside Taft defense with two goals in the third quarter. A skilled first goal from Felix Alfaro ‘27 brought our score into the double digits, and a fourth quarter shut-out from our defense made us proud of our work. We hold our heads high going into our next game against Loomis on 4/24/24.
