Deerfield had their biggest offensive output of the season en route to a 12-3 win over Dexter Southfield in the 2nd game of a league double header. The win puts Deerfield in sole position of first place in the Central New England Baseball League. Leading the way at the plate was Gavin Rigney who went 3-3 with 2 RBI. Connor Mudd, Sawyer Ramey, and Jake Rohan also had 2 RBI. SP Connor Niemec pitched all seven innings and struck out a season high 11 batters. Niemec is 3-0 in 3 starts to go along with 1 save.
