On Saturday, March 30, in an exciting opening game, the Deerfield JV Boys Lacrosse team took on Brunswick. Although Brunswick started off strong, Deerfield quickly came back with Marko Wuchenich ’26 scoring our first goal in the first quarter and another in the second quarter. Griffin Mariani ’26 made our second goal of in the second quarter, ending the half, 6-3 Brunswick. In the third quarter we scored twice more. Sadly, no goals were scored by Deerfield in the fourth quarter, ending the game 9-5 Brunswick. Although Brunswick took the win, Deerfield continuously fought hard to stay in the game. We look forward to our next game on Wednesday, April 3, against Avon Old Farms.
