Deerfield Girls Hockey defeated Berkshire 3-1 on the road on Saturday afternoon. Allie Corrieri ’25 opened the scoring on the power play, finishing off great puck movement from Gia Thompson ’26 and Brady Wierl ’26. Then, Peyton Wierl ’26 took a pass from Olivia Austen ’27, came off the boards and found the back of the net. Berkshire was able to pull within one, but P. Wierl sealed the game with a empty net goal off of an assist from B. Wierl. Campbell Krotee ’25 was solid in goal, and Keira Austen ’26 earned the hard hat for her strong defense and work ethic. Many thanks to the Wierl family for the delicious sandwiches and other treats after the game! Next up is a home game against Cushing on Wednesday.
