Boys Thirds Basketball finished the season with a strong win against Westminster at home on the varsity court, 53-27. Deerfield scoring was led by their big men, with Hawk Okpokwasili ’25 dropping 14 and Eddie Andrews ’27 adding 12. Andrews and Okpokwasili also added a pair of statement blocks on the defensive end. The doors brought the same defensive pressure and energy that they had in every win this season. Jack Webb ’27 played the game at his pace and hit a deep three late in the game. Both Okpokwasili and Jonny Scagel ’25 announced their retirement, but the coaching staff imagines one or both may pull a Brady. Deerfield ends the season with a 12-4 record. Post-game, the boys celebrated with pizza and the following paper plate awards:
