Deerfield Girls Hockey traveled to St. Mark’s on Saturday afternoon, and came away with a 3-2 victory. We started the game with lots of sustained offensive pressure, and Reagan Deery ’28 got us on the board first (assist to Julia Tamul ’25) after firing home a rebound. Gill Herr ’27 then doubled our lead on the power play (assists to Amelia Healey ’27 and Chloe Cleaves ’26). St. Mark’s was able to fight back to tie the score despite our strong edge in shots and possession, but Cleaves found the winner (assists to Gia Thompson ’26 and Allie Corrieri ’25). Campbell Krotee ’25 played well in goal, and Erin Dunne ’28 earned the hard hat for her hard work in all three zones. Many thanks to the Tamul family for the delicious subs and snack bags after the game. Next up is Loomis at home on Wednesday.
