Boys J.V. hockey was on the road again Saturday, this time travelling to Wallingford Ct. to take on rival Choate. The team was missing a few players today and there was a juggling of line combinations that we were waiting to see what would happen on the day. The results were positive as the Big Green rolled to a 10-2 win over their hosts.
Most notable on the day was the spread of contributors throughout the lineup with several players earning their first points of the season. Still too many penalties for our liking and the team will continue to work toward reducing these numbers, particularly retaliatory and offensive zone penalties.
Next up will be our toughest opponent to date, Berkshire school on Wednesday. We are excited to play Berkshire for the first time in JV hockey. The game will be played at Berkshire at 3:30 p.m. this Wednesday.
