The Big Green traveled to NMH on Wednesday afternoon after Fall Family Weekend for a Class A match-up against the Hoggers. It took the good part of the first half for the Big Green to settle into their rhythm of the game. They created several chances but were unable to convert until the final 10 minutes of the first half when Meryl Gilbert ‘27 broke through the backline and went 1v1 with the NMH goalkeeper and placed the ball in the far corner of the back of the net.

The Big Green regrouped at half time and recommitted to playing our style of play. Holding most of the possession but were unable to convert any chances. The contest grew more physical and NMH were awarded a drop ball that they converted into a goal to tie the game.

Determined to regain the lead, the Big Green continued to press and Olivia Austen ‘27 buried a rebound off the cross bar on a shot from Eleanor DuPont ‘26 to put the Big Green up by a goal.

The Big Green defense held strong and fended off all the Hogger chances to seal the victory!

Next up: Loomis at home this Friday at 2:30pm.
