Deerfield traveled down to Simsbury to play Westminster on Wednesday. DA was able to convert early on a goal from Ilsa Borgen ’26 and added another tally before the end of the quarter on a goal from Chloe Cleaves ’26. In the second quarter, Lilly Oliver ’26 added two more goals and Lexi Rohan ’25 had a beautiful deflection on a pass from Cleaves ’26 to put DA up 5-0 going into the half. Westy battled hard in the second half though and used quick transitions to create several corner opportunities, but the Big Green defense maintained their composure. Oliver added one more before the end of the game to secure DA’s 6-0 win. It was a great team effort with Erin Dunne ’28, Eloise Hochberg ’27, Haley Abraham ’25, and Reagan Deery ’28 playing particularly well and Izzy Kirby ’26 got the shut out in net. Up next: DA travels to Taft on Saturday.
