On a perfect autumnal day, the Doors rolled south to take on the Pelicans of Loomis and the Boars of Choate Rosemary Hall. Oddly, the Loomis squad was missing several key runners, so the Deerfield squads managed to defeat their competition. The first four runners across the line were Deerfield athletes, securing the varsity contests, and the depth of the Green and White continued to be on display as the JV earned another pair of perfect scores. Deerfield had 12 runners across the line before either opposing team’s fifth runner. Looking ahead, the barriers from Deerfield will enjoy an off weekend from racing before traveling to Phillips Andover on 10/26.
