The Doors rolled to Andover to take on Phillips Exeter Academy, Phillips Academy Andover, and St. Paul’s School. The blustery winds and cooler temperatures set the stage for a terrific race against some of the strongest teams in the league. The Green and White had a strong day, with many runners posting their season best times or close to them despite the slower hills on Andover’s course. In the end, the Doors took third behind PEA and PA, with the Pelicans of SPS rounding out the bunch. It was a productive day full of learning, and the runners will take the lessons back to Deerfield, study up, and get ready for next week’s final dual race at home against Northfield Mount Hermon.
