The girls braved the cold yesterday during their trip north to Brattleboro in a rematch of a game Deerfield won on their home field earlier this season. In what was largely a defensive struggle, the lone and deciding goal was scored by Brattleboro on a penalty kick. Despite the result, the JV team showed themselves well in their hustle, determination, and sportsmanship after the game. The team will play their next game on the road as well, traveling to Exeter this Saturday.
