After the first match against Eaglebrook a month ago, Deerfield was all revved up for a rematch. Many of the match-ups were intensely competitive; most matches went to 4 or 5 games. For example, Blix Salz ’24 won his match with 5 games that each finished with 2-point differences. In a match-up eagerly awaited by all, Watt Muir ’24 faced off against the same (7th grade) student he played earlier and lost in 4 games. The team looks forward to its next match, an away match against Westminster this Saturday.
