Girls Varsity Hockey made the trip to Taft on Saturday, and came away with a 2-0 win. We scored both goals in the first period: to start, Annie Dinges ’24 took a nice pass from Olivia Austen ’27, went the length of the ice and buried a shot to open the scoring. Then, Sophie Frost ’26 found Austen in front, who made no mistake in finding the back of the net. We weren’t at our best today, but the defense and Campbell Krotee ’25 in goal held strong, and we were happy to come away with a third win in a busy and competitive week. Ava Carvel ’25 earned the hard hat for her smart breakout passes! Many thanks to the Cericola family for the sandwiches, drinks, chips and desserts after the game. Next up is Pomfret on the road on Wednesday afternoon.
