Deerfield took on a good St. Paul’s team at home on Wednesday afternoon. We didn’t play a strong first period, and found ourselves down 1-0. We played a much better final two periods, out-shooting the visitors, but could not find the back of the net. To their credit, St. Paul’s took advantage of our errors, and the game ended 4-0. Gia Thompson ‘26 earned the hard hat for her strong effort in all three zones, and Ava Giroux ‘26 was outstanding on the penalty kill. We’ll look to regroup with a much needed long weekend break!
