After a quick two hour break, the Big Green took the ice for a re-match against Lawrenceville. The game unfolded similarly to the morning’s contest, as the hosts kept things close early on before the depth of the Deerfield team took over. Goals this afternoon were scored by Izzy Cericola ‘24, Sophie Frost ‘26 (2), Brady Wierl ‘26 (short handed), Olivia Austen ‘27 and Annie Dinges ‘24. Campbell Krotee ‘25 was strong yet again in goal, and Julia Tamul ‘25 was excellent on the breakout in the final two periods. Austen earned the hard hat for her consistent play in all three zones. The weekend sweep, as well as the delicious Chik-fil-A (thank you, parents!) are making the long bus ride home in wintery weather much more tolerable! We’ll enjoy a much needed day off tomorrow, and then get back to work on Monday in preparation for NMH at home on Wednesday evening.
