Defensively, the boys were able to keep out Westminster. The first period ended scoreless. Deerfield came out strong in the second period with two goals. The first goal was scored by Jakub Kohn ‘24 assisted by Tom Molson ‘24. The second was tucked away by Justin Tavares ‘25, with assists from Tom Molson and Jakub Kohn. Feeling good, Deerfield looked to continue this momentum in the third. However, Westminster did not let up. They were able to score six minutes into the third, narrowing Deerfield’s lead, 2-1.
