Deerfield hosted Trinity Pawling for their second home game of the season. The game started fairly evenly. Although Deerfield possessed the puck for most of the first, they were unable to finish it. With four minutes left, Justin Tavares ‘25 was able to find the back of the net with assists from Tom Molson ‘24 and Jakub Kohn ‘24. However, Trinity Pawling was able to capitalize with .4 seconds remaining in the period, resulting in a tie score at the end of the first. Trinity Pawling continued to push Deerfield throughout the second period. Deerfield held strong defensively, keeping the score tied one to one at the end of the second. Going into the third, Deerfield knew the importance of offensive pressure. With a tight game nearing the end of the third, Nate Watson ‘26 was able to finish, assisted by Tom Molson and Justin Tavares at the four minute mark. Soon after Tom Molson scored the final goal of the game, assisted by Jakub Kohn and Justin Tavares. The final score was 3-1. A hard fought game, with a strong performance from John Tolve ‘24.
