Deerfield continued their time on the road with a game at Pomfret. Playing a strong team, Deerfield was unable to capitalize until late in the first period when Jakub Kohn ‘24 finished, with assists from Tom Molson ‘24 and Justin Tavares ‘25. Going into the second period, Deerfield led 1-0. Halfway through the second, Justin Tavares found the back of the net, assisted by Zachary Chehade ‘25. Deerfield maintained possession for a majority of the game, leading 2-0 at the end of the period. Going into the third period, Deerfield looked to continue their offensive pressure. However, Pomfret took advantage of a tired Deerfield team with five and a half minutes left in the game. With a new built momentum, Pomfret looked to score another. They were able to do so with less than a minute remaining. Deerfield was pushed into overtime, but were unable to secure the win. The final score was tied 2-2. On the road again for a 4:00 game against Hotchkiss tomorrow.
