The varsity FH team traveled to Pomfret to take on the Griffins on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. Pomfret was fast and aggressive from the first whistle and Deerfield worked hard to connect offensively and defensively. Four different Deerfield players scored during the game: Peyton Wierl ’26, Lauren Loh ’24, Kate MacKenzie ’24, and Riley Harrington ’24. Assists were made from Lilly Oliver ’26, Harrington, Bailey Miller ’24, and Julia Tamul ’25. Ella Davies ’24 and Miller anchored our defense and Haley Abraham ’25 and Viv Monopoli ’26 did well in the midfield. Lauren Smith ‘24 earned her second shut-out in net. Next up: Hotchkiss on Saturday. Go Big Green!
