The Deerfield JV Girls Lax team beat Loomis 11-5 on Wednesday, braving the cold rain and showcasing their impressive growth over the course of the season. The middies won almost every draw with the help of Julia and Gia dominating on the circle, and were able to consistently control possession thanks to the hard work of Fife, Ava, Gia, Julia and others who fought hard for every ball in the transition. Greta was again our top scorer with a hat trick on the day. And, we learned that Ava and Annie can do the worm.
