Deerfield was shut out again by Worcester 5-0 in a pivotal league game for 1st place. Both teams combined for just 7 hits. Ryan McHugh was 2-3 and Fletcher Waterman was 1-3. Matt Keene and Eliot Seymour combined for 3 ER, 4 hits and 7 K’s but walked 5 batters and each threw a wild pitch that led to a run.
