Deerfield dropped a high scoring contest 21-20 to Avon Old Farms. It was the most hits and runs that Deerfield had all season. Both teams scored 8 runs in the 7th inning. Ryan McHugh hit a grand slam and Stephen Souder and Jake Rohan both had 3 hits. All 9 starting hitters got at least 1 hit in the game. Rohan, Landon Wayne, and Fletcher Waterman each had 2 RBI. Gavin Rigney scored 4 times. McHugh, Souder, and Conor Moriarty scored 3 times.
