Deerfield Boys JV lacrosse team won their home-opener on Wednesday over Avon Old Farms Varsity “B” team in a comeback victory 7-6. Leading all scorers was Cole Rorick who found the net 3 times. Solid defensive play from Keitaro Fukuda, Leo Ma, and Sawyer Johnson helped to keep Avon Old Farms away from the crease, with Leo Ma breaking over the midfield line and going in for a score. Also scoring for Deerfield was midfielder Prescott Miller who scored his first DA lacrosse goal.
