Deerfield got their 3^rd shutout victory of the season by a score of 1-0 against Dexter Southfield. SP Kenny Carlisle was outstanding, going 5 2/3 innings and allowed just 4 hits and struck out 7 batters. RP Pete Shea came in for the 4 out save, recording 3 strike outs along the way. It was the best pitching performance of the season for each pitcher. 7 Deerfield batters recorded a hit. SS Conor Moriarty scored the only run of the game on a sacrifice fly hit by C Henry Prince in the top of the 4^th inning.
