It was a very close game with the score tied for most of the four quarters. The score was 20-2o at the half, but we fell behind in the third quarter to 25-32. The team dug deep and came back strong to 22-32 with a minute and a half left in the fourth quarter. It went back and forth several times, but they landed 3 more points to finish it off. Jasmine Irizarry ’23 showed off her speed and savvy ball-handling as point guard and dropped in four baskets including a three-pointer. Eleanor duPont ’26 played consistently strong and fast. She maneuvered around some heavy-handed defense yet again and made six buckets including a foul shot and a three-pointer. Nainika Lebaka ‘24 was a force on both ends of the court. She rebounded, played solidly below the bucket, and dropped in four baskets too. Sally Rolland ’23 continued to play smart and made some nice inside passes and assists. We have four more games left this season and are aiming to finish strong!
