The Big Green boys varsity squash team experienced a closely contested loss against Andover on the road this weekend. In the opening flight Read Kitchel ’26 snapped up a convincing win at the number 4 position, while we dropped the number 6 position to level at 1-1. Meanwhile Hart Robertson ’26 stayed locked in to prevail over his opponent in the number 2 spot, setting Deerfield up at 2-1. In the second flight things took a turn for the worse – although Christian Capella ’25 delivered a commanding win in the number 1 position, the team was unable to clinch the final win despite some gritty play and good opportunities. In the end we headed back to the valley down 3-4.

We will look ahead to hosting Loomis Chaffee this coming Wednesday in the hopes we can head home for the holidays in strong spirits – Go Big Green!
