Deerfield’s thirds squash team won against Williston Northampton’s spunky JV team in a 5-2 record. In an exhibition match at the #8 spot, Luc Ruminski ’27, a new addition to the team, won his first-ever match 3-0. At #3, Nico Pfeifler ’25 earned his win in a tight 5-game match, with two games going beyond a 10-all tie. Deerfield’s #1 seed Nikhil Lebaka ’24 faced a challenging opponent who, contrary to what he saw on the court, had only started playing a few weeks earlier. The team is eager to face its next opponent Eagle Hill on Wednesday.
