Deerfield Girls Hockey hit the road on Wednesday afternoon, and came away with a 2-1 win against a strong Loomis team. Annie Dinges ‘24 opened the scoring with a great shot (assists to Mia Goetzke ‘24 and Sophie Frost ‘26), and then Allie Corrieri ‘25 doubled our lead in the second (assist to Frost). Though Loomis got a goal back in the third, our defense held strong, and we earned a great team win. We got better and better as the game went on, and worked hard from start to finish. Campbell Krotee ‘25 was excellent in goal for the Big Green, and Taylor Wilburn ‘27 earned the hard hat for her consistent play in the defensive zone. Many thanks to the parents for the delicious pizza, fruit, cookies and drinks after the game. Next up is an away game on Friday night at Millbrook.
