After a long and snowy journey down to Connecticut, Girls JV Basketball got off to a late start against Westminster. Although Westminster took an early lead with an impressive 3-point shot in the opening quarter, we quickly bounced back to end the quarter at 10-3. The team showed remarkable defensive skills in the first half, holding off Westminster’s strong shooting. They also demonstrated great improvement in rebounding, going up for every shot. The third quarter saw an impressive catch by our manager, Nathan Adu-Gyebi ‘26, but the real star of the game was Cecy Yazwinski ’27. Cecy shone on both defense and offense, scoring 12 points, and leading us to a 29-16 victory.
