Deerfield Girls Hockey put together a complete effort against Cushing this afternoon, and skated away with a 2-1 OT win. We had a lot of shots on goal and put on a ton of offensive pressure, but Cushing scored first off of a rush in the second period. Allie Corrieri ‘25 responded quickly with a blast from the point on the power play, with the assist going to Sophie Frost ‘26. We took a penalty in overtime, but managed to earned an offensive zone face off short handed. Corrieri ripped a shot off of the cross bar, and Annie Dinges ´24 dug the rebound into the net for a Big Green win. Corrieri earned the hard hat, and Campbell Krotee ‘25 played very well in goal. We’ll have New Hampton in the third place game Saturday at 12pm.
