Although the team momentarily lost the serve, their resilience shone through, thanks to the outstanding defense. Olivia ’25 took charge, serving four consecutive aces, propelling the team forward. The entire team displayed remarkable defense, and big swings from Devon ’25 kept the momentum alive. The set culminated with a powerful swing from Ariana ’26 to the backcourt, beautifully complemented by a tip from Maisy ’26. In the second set, the team encountered a slight setback, losing the first two serves. Nevertheless, Olivia’s ’25 exceptional block ensured the team regained the serve. Devon ’25 unleashed powerful swings to the backcourt, and Ariana’s ’26 perfectly executed tip left the audience in awe. The third set witnessed a spirited resurgence from Hotchkiss, as they launched a barrage of powerful attacks. Despite the fierce competition, the team found their rhythm.
