On Wednesday, the girls varsity soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to neighboring NMH. The Big Green dominated possession from the opening whistle and throughout the game; creating several dangerous scoring chances, but struggled to find the back of the net. The NMH goalkeeper was outstanding, making save-after-save. NMH capitalized on a couple of opportunities to go up by two goals. The Big Green continued to press and Alex Hermsdorf registered her first goal of the season off a cross from Kaelin Creagh to cut the lead in half. Unfortunately, the final whistle blew shortly thereafter with the Big Green down by a goal. The squad will look to rebound and continue to build off of the scoring opportunities created in this game at Loomis this Saturday.
