Deerfield Boys JV Soccer travelled to Hotchkiss on Saturday. Though we controlled possession for much of the match, we gave up a late goal and lost 0-1. With only 13 players making the trip, everyone left it all out on the pitch. Keeper Joe Berman ‘25 provided tremendous leadership from the back as always. Matteo Stewart ‘24 set the tone with aggressive play and powerful words in the huddle. Jack Borg ‘27 barely missed on what would been the tying goal with only minutes left in the game, capping off his day of leading the offensive attack from the midfield. Overall, the boys were frustrated with the result but proud of their teamwork and collective effort.
