Deerfield fell to Exeter 21-14 and dropped their 2nd game in a row at home. Deerfield was unable to convert on a 4th and goal with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter to tie the game and Exeter was able to gain 2 first downs and run the clock out to seal the win. On defense, CB Will Machnik had his 3rd interception of the year and DE Max Hobbs recovered a fumble, both in the first half. On offense RB Malachi Costello and QB Cole Geer each had rushing touchdowns for the Big Green.
