Deerfield hosted a skilled and poised Andover squad on Saturday. The play was back-and-forth for much of the game and both teams were able to earn a goal before the end of the first half. Deerfield’s only tally of the day came from Kate MacKenzie ’24 on a beautifully executed stroke. Andover capitalized on a stroke of their own at the end of the third quarter to go up 2-1 and they were able to capitalize on turnovers in the fourth quarter to add two more tallies and earn the 4-1 win. It was a competitive and well-played game by both teams. Lauren Loh ’24, Bailey Miller ’24, Ella Davies ’24, and Julia Tamul ’25 played hard for the Big Green and Lauren Smith ’24 came up with some great saves in net. Next up: KUA on Wednesday.
