Deerfield’s JV Swim team came out flying in our meet today against Eaglebrook and Northfield Mount Hermon. While we didn’t have any first place finishes, we left feeling proud of our impressive 18 personal best times on the day. Junior Ella Davies’s performance is of particular note as she is responsible for three of those best times! Junior Isabelle Schwartz also had a successful day, dropping a whopping 28 seconds in the 500 Freestyle. Our 200 Freestyle relay team, consisting of Melody Zhao ‘26, Jazmine Wilson Bigornia ‘25, Teagan Farley ‘26, and Miu Yatsuka ‘24, had an exciting second place finish. Despite a handful of swimmers racing in unfamiliar events, the team maintained a positive attitude and a strong cheering section throughout. We’re excited to swim against Eagle Hill in our first home meet on Saturday January 28th.
