We dug ourselves into a hole on Saturday afternoon against Exeter, going down 2-0 heading into the third period. We finally started to play our game in the final frame, and dominated the possession and momentum. CC Deslauriers ’23 pulled us within one, firing home a shot from the point off of a face off win by Brady Wierl ’26. Then, Kaley MacDonald ’23 tied the score in the final minute (assist to Deslauriers), but Exeter got the winner in OT on the power play. Cal Ferraris ’23 was unbelievable all game long, and it was really her compete level that inspired us to play with urgency. Lauryn Broecker ’23 earned the hard hat for playing with pace in all three zones. We’ll look to get back on track with a road contest against Choate on Wednesday.
