On Saturday afternoon, as part of Deerfield’s celebration of 100 Years of Hockey, Girls Varsity Hockey took on an excellent Andover team in front of a large crowd of family, friends and alums. It was a back-and-forth, competitive game, and outside of a six minute stretch in the third period where we lost our footing, the team played a hard and smart game. Lauren Sobczak ’24 played well in goal, and Kaley MacDonald ’23 earned the hard hat for once again leading the way with her incredible compete level and vision on the ice.
