On Friday, Girls Varsity Hockey made the long trip to New Hampton, a journey made longer by snow. We ended up on the wrong end of a competitive 5-4 game, but the team competed hard from start to finish. Annie Dinges ’24 had a hat trick, and Lauryn Broecker ’23 also scored for the Big Green. Cal Ferraris ’23 earned the hard hat for her outstanding play. Huge thanks to the Dinges family for the amazing homemade feast after the game; it made the late night a lot more bearable!
On Saturday, the team had a very quick turn around before leaving to take on Taft on the road. Taft prevailed 2-0, and Keira Austen earned the hard hat for smart, steady play all game long.
