On a wonderful Fall day in the valley, the JV Football team played their first game against Avon Old Farms on Jim Smith Field. Avon proved to be a tough opponent as the two teams struggled to get much offense going, but in the end, Deerfield’s defense and a few opportunistic plays allowed us to sneak away with a 12-0 victory. We’d like to thank the Athletic Department for livestreaming the games, and Avon for making the trip up!
