The Deerfield lacrosse team faced off against Exeter in their final game of the 2022 season. It was a hard-fought contest on a day that saw temperatures well above expected May highs. Exeter lead the game throughout the contest, but Deerfield competed hard throughout the full 50 minutes. The Big Green struggled to gain draw controls, and the loss of these possession opportunities proved difficult to overcome. Overall, it was a solid full-heart effort as the girls celebrated the seniors last game in a Deerfield jersey. Grace Honos awarded Marnie Todd with the All Heart Player of the Game for her amazing performance in the midfield. Morgan Giardina was also recognized for the many saves she amassed over the course of the contest.
