Deerfield won their 6th straight game and moved to first place in the Central New England League with a 6-2 win over Worcester Academy. SP Ryan McHugh improved his record to 5-1 with a sharp pitching performance where he allowed 9 hits, 2 ER, struck out 6 and walked no batters. McHugh also had a good day at the plate going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Sam Chutkow had a big 2 run single in the bottom half of the 4th inning after Worcester took a 2-1 lead in the top half of the same inning. Tynan Creagh went 2-4 and scored 2 runs and 1 SB.
