Despite windy and chilly weather, the Deerfield boys found success and were happy to be on the winning side of the court again. We got off to an quick start, winning decidedly on the doubles side, gaining the point with a victory on court two and three. Jimmy Euland and Brick Johnson played well early, however their opponents showed resolve and forced them to maintain focus to close out the third doubles match. The singles rendered good results up and down the ladder. Despite some long points and solid pressure from NMH, one through six were able to secure victories in straight sets. The team is looking forward to its next test against Hoosac this weekend.
